Individual psychotherapy:

I work with adults (age 18 and over) for one-on-one therapy. I will work with you on coming to a better understanding of yourself by taking a closer look at your emotional responses, your views of yourself, others, and the world, and your patterns in relationships. Together, and with curiosity and self-compassion we will look at the ways you feel stuck. From there we will identify small steps and experiments that will help you move toward change.

The fee for individual therapy sessions is $175 (reduced fee available on a case-by-case basis). I am contracted with several major insurance providers.

Group therapy:

I have had the privilege of being trained and supervised in the Relationship Recovery Process model by its developer Amanda Curtin. This model has been further adapted and popularized by Patrick Teahan (who teaches this model on his YouTube channel). I can wholeheartedly say that this model has changed both my personal life and my approach as a therapist. I am thrilled to be able to share the deep wisdom and healing this model imparts.

The Relationship Recovery Process approach to therapy is worth considering if you have emotional and relationship difficulties that you are unable to satisfactorily address; if you wonder whether or how your upbringing contributes to your current struggles; or if you suffer from feelings of shame, emptiness and loneliness. Many people bristle at the word “trauma” as they believe their experiences weren’t “that bad.” Childhood emotional neglect may or may not be subtle. Either way, it has profound effects on one’s sense of self and others. Exploring and sharing these questions in a group setting can be immensely helpful in gaining clarity, self-compassion, and eventually a greater sense of inner peace. Two ways to pursue this Process are:

The 6-month Childhood Trauma Group: This is a structured psycho-educational and experiential group for adults who grew up in dysfunctional families. It provides a safe and supportive space to begin to tell the story of your past and start to heal.

The 2(+) year Re-Parenting Group is the “part 2” of the Childhood Trauma Recovery Group model and builds on the concepts and goals of the 6-month group. Through structured and experiential exercises this group helps participants continue their healing process. The group aims are to continue to tell your story, to grieve the loss of a normal childhood, to work on building intimacy and conflict resolution skills, and to learn to re-parent your inner child.

The fee for therapy groups is $75 per 90 minute session (reduced fee available on case by case basis)
